ttr world tour

The women on the Swatch TTR tour are about to take on the season’s first 6Star event, the O’Neill Evolution in Davos, Switzerland. They will have a busy schedule this winter with the 6Star Burton European Open coming up in January and another major event, The Oakley Arctic Challenge opening a 6Star slopestyle format for women this season. Other major events in their planning include the 5Star Burton Canadian Open, NescafĂ© Champs Leysin and US Snowboarding Grand Prix. In 2010/11 the female Swatch TTR World Tour Champion will be crowned at the 6Star Burton US Open alongside the men. Stay tuned for all the action on ttrworldtour.com.

Kelly Clark didn't make the finals of the  Roxy Chicken Jam slopestyle competition but still managed to walk away $50,000 richer. Twenty-first place was good enough for Clark to surpass erstwhile TTR leader Jamie Anderson and become the Swatch TTR World Champion.

“It’s amazing. It was really a long shot for me heading into this weekend and to end up on top, it's really the icing on the cake to a great season” said Kelly about her Title win. “It’s really great to win the TTR Title.”

The Swatch TTR Women's title all comes down to today. A few days ago we talked about who could win and how, but with just the Roxy Chicken Jam slopestyle to go, the future is clarifying.

The Women's Swatch TTR World Tour Champ will be decided this weekend at the Roxy Chicken Jam. Jamie Anderson is currently sitting in first place, but she ruptured her spleen at the US Open last weekend and won't be competing. Jamie's injury opens the door for someone else to overtake her.

So who can beat Jamie Anderson? There are a few women with a good shot.
