It's  Thursday and that means its time for Twitter Thursday! The pros all seem to be traveling again. Some are traveling for some southern hemisphere shred time while others are heading home or to other fun sounding places. I am jealous of it all, although my first choice woule be the shredding!

Twitter Thursday is a new weekly series. We'll be catching you up with what pros and people in industry have been up to via their tweets.

For our first installation - we're bringing you a ton of tweets from pros as they all seem to be heading to somewhere in the Southern Hemisphere for a little pre-season shred action.

Elena Hight turned 21 this week. Happy Birthday!

Don't forget you can follow us at http://twitter.com/powderroom!

Marie-France Roy will be the latest target of the Rome SDS Ask the Rider Twitter Interview on Friday, October 16.  You'll get a chance to ask MFR whatever you want for 2 hours.  Rome will be giving away a pair of Strut or United bindings to one lucky tweeter.

You can ask whatever you want.  Here are some sample questions from Rome to get you started... How was filming the Team Shoot Out? How was filming with Absinthe this past season? Any good stories from your recent trip to Japan? Would you consider dating a guy that isn’t as good as you at snowboarding (also known as 99.99% of the male snowboarding population)?

On Friday July 17, Humanity Snowboards are giving away a mountain of gear in a Twitter-based contest. To enter you have to follow the crew at http://twitter.com/humanitysnow.

Questions for you to answer will be delivered by video form Humanity HQ with the links shown on Twitter. There'll be a new prize every hour starting at 8am PST.

It's time for another Twitter Thursday. If you want to know what goes on in the daily life of a pro snowboarder, follow them on twitter.

Here are a few of the pro women we follow..

Twitter is making a big splash in the action sports industry. In case you haven't heard, Twitter is a microblogging platfom.

Keen to keep up with the latest snow news this winter with us? Does the thought of missing one of our updates leave you in a panic and reaching for the nearest bottle of Pinot Grigot?

We’ve got the solution – our new Twitter feed.

We’ve had one for a while – www.twitter.com/powderroom which we occasionally update with random musings and links and which we use to follow who’s saying what about planet snow.

Now we have another feed which provides links to every piece of content we publish on the site in the blog and news feeds – how fabulous. To subscribe to this feed visit www.twitter.com/powderroom_feed
