I bought some new goggles last year but they are a bit big for my face and was wondering what your favorite goggle was. These are the ones I have now. I bought them off of ebay prior to knowing how big they would be on my face.

I’m thinking of switching to Anon goggles. Any good reviews?

Goggles are somewhat like boots, try on a bunch and bring the helmet to ensure a good fit.

However pay attention to the lens options and the VTL (Visible Light Transmission) and what kind of light/visability you will be riding in…for example, many of the locals use high intensity lenses like smith sensor mirrors with like 70% VTL for fog, cloudy, pukage and flat light conditions we have in the pnw.

I love my Dragon DX goggles, they fit well, have never caused discomfort, don’t steam up (unless I’ve got a serious sweat on!) and come with mirrored and orange lenses for different conditions. But trying them on, with your helmet if you wear one, is definitely the best idea to make sure they fit.

Hey Jellybean1, my last two pairs have been Anon Majestics as they’re a slightly smaller fit and go well over my helmet, but as baker_gurl says, it’s always good to try a load on to be sure. The lenses I have in the Majestics are suitable for pretty much all weather conditions too, couldn’t be much happier with them really!

I’m a huge fan of Smith goggles. I’m about to go out and buy some tonight actually… my friend let me borrow his while in Banff and they were fantastic. The lens is really versatile (good in most light) and the best part is that they have a vent adjustment. When you’re bombing down a run and it’s super cold, your eyes normally water from the wind/cold… my eyes are super sensitive and are actually swollen today from 2 days of that. Anyways, the vent allows you to close the goggles completely, so no air gets in.. then you open them again when you’re at the lift line so that they don’t fog.

Specifically the model that he has are the Smith Phenom’s (men’s but a medium fit) and the other ones (chick’s version) with the same technology are the Smith Heiress. Check them out..

I got some Anon goggles this year as the Bolle ones I had were too small for my face and felt like they were restricting my peripheral vision.

The Anon goggles were perfect for my face but I think I have a larger head (for a girl anyway :D )The majestic frames are supposed to be more suited to smaller faces. These goggles have some sort of special foam that were more comfortable to wear than the Bolle Goggles (The Bolle Goggles seemed to pinch my nose as well)
